Call For Paper Title
Adaptive Practices Enabling Transportation Agencies to Expedite Change
Call Description

Current demographic, technology and innovation changes in the industry are requiring transportation agencies to be more nimble.  What are the best techniques, organizational models, and innovative processes that foster changes in organizations and demonstrate good adaptive practices?  Of particular interest are:

  • Case studies that are focused on demonstrated best practices and lessons learned in the implementation of organizational change in transportation agencies and other organizations, where the applicability to transportation organizations can be clearly demonstrated.
  • Lessons learned can include strategies that did not work, provided the analysis can help an agency navigate common hazards and issues.
  • Case studies that show measureable culture shift as it relates to organizational change.
  • Models of international, national, regional, and local policies, strategies, and regulations that promote effective and timely organizational change.
  • Data, metrics, and analytical tools that demonstrate the improvements in change implementation and management that are required to assess a transportation agency’s effectiveness in the process.

Papers for publication and/or presentation must be submitted before 1st August, 2017.
