This session will focus on the pooled-fund research sponsored by the Oregon DOT to provide planning-level capacity adjustments for connected and automated vehicles (CAVs), as well as additional ongoing and planed research to determine procedural changes in the Highway Capacity Manual to accommodate CAVs.
