Meeting Subcommitee A0010(1):

·         Automated Trucking and its Impact on the 3 Revolutions

Automation will affect trucking in many ways. This combined presentation will cover two key aspects: the potential effects of automation on “last mile” delivery and the possible consequences of integrating automation with truck electrification.  Automation and Electrification fit into a concept of “3 Revolutions” (see description below) for trucking, considering synergisms between the sharing economy (such as in delivery systems), automation, and electrification.
