In this simulive session at the Centennial TRB annual meeting the panel will showcase and discuss advances in Travel Behavior research, inspired by innovative methodologies, big data, latest technologies, and efficient policies that affect travel behavior. The panel will also discuss the path forward to address new and revived challenges (e.g., pandemics, transit ridership, innovative modes of travel, AVs, ridesharing plans, and provisions for activity space and social interactions), as well as innovative policies and methods.
