With growing interest in the health impacts of transportation decisions, this workshop focuses on institutionalizing the practice of public health in transportation through workforce development, leadership buy-in, and funding. Speakers from transportation agencies and their public health partners use case studies, an information-sharing lightning round, and audience participation to share lessons learned on starting pilot initiatives that can be leveraged into longer-term programs.
