This session presents recent research on transit, location affordability, and economic development. Specifically, it  provides important insights on the impact of streetcar investments and economic development and the timing of these impacts, as well as the social, economic, and land use characteristics that influence public transportation ridership for work trips. Further, the role of urban form and vehicle ownership on location affordability and foreclosures will be explored.
