Watershed Approach to Mitigating Stormwater Impacts

Sunday, January 07, 2018, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, Convention Center
Neil Weinstein, Low Impact Development Center, presiding
Sponsored by Standing Committee on Stormwater

This workshop provides an overview of NCHRP Report 840, A Watershed Approach to Mitigating Stormwater Impacts. State departments of transportation sometimes are unable to meet stormwater management requirements on site or in close proximity to the project area. Attendees will gain a working knowledge of the research and an understanding of how to identify and propose viable offsite mitigation for transportation projects. Also included is a hands-on demonstration of the Excel-based tool.
