The use of slide-in bridge construction (SIBC) is rapidly growing in popularity among bridge owners, designers, and contractors. The session will highlight three case studies in which SIBC has been successfully utilized to save construction time, reduce traffic impacts, and provide a safer work environment.  The final speaker will provide an overview of the SIBC guidance and reference manuals developed by FHWA and FHWA research partners.
