Aging infrastructure often requires rapid repairs. This workshop discusses case studies detailing materials and practices used for rapid repair of PCC pavements and structures, including use of rapid-hardening mixtures and precast products. A panel discussion will consider the perspectives of owners and contractors to address problems encountered, actions taken, and pitfalls to avoid. Finally, research activities related to rapid repair will be presented.
